Getting Started

What type of site suits you? Here are some ideas to help you with your planning.

• Firstly, how many pages will your site have - how will these be laid out?

This can be a difficult question to answer, especially if you are just starting out. Why not look at some of the sites in the 'portfolio' panel on the left for ideas? Tuttiwebs will work with you to construct a site that is easy to navigate and which provides the information you need to display.

• Are you interested in having pictures, video or audio files as part of your site?

• Do you want to update your site yourself - or would you prefer Tuttiwebs to do this for you?

A Basic site with regular updates means that you can contact Tuttiwebs via email with your changes and these will be processed and put up on your site within 24 hours.

If you prefer you can have your website designed so that you can have direct access to the site updates yourself. You can make changes without having to know any complicated computer through a fully integrated Content Management System.

• When you set up a website for the first time there are two additional things that you need.

1. Domain Name Registration, example www.mysite.com

2. Hosting Space. This is where you put you site so that others on the web can see it.

The setting up of this will be taken care of at Tuttiwebs and is always included in the quotation for a new site.
